About Me

I’ve been an MRI technologist at a level one trauma hospital for about 10 years now. A a few years ago I decided to go part-time to really focus on my dreams of owning a successful business and creating more freedom for myself. 

My boyfriend, Jeff and I are MIDDLE school sweethearts. YES, you heard that right! And, this is our sweet, wild and adventurous 7 year old German Shepherd named Oli. I truly love rock music & going to shows! Jeff & I have attended countless shows over the years and still going strong. We’ve seen A Day to Remember 9 times soon to be 10! Haha A few of my absolute favorite bands are Bring Me The Horizon (that’s where my dog, Oli’s name came from haha), Bad Omens, Thousand Below, The Plot In You & TDWP. & I can’t forget Taylor Swift! I love taking my passion for rock music and incorporating it into my brand. 98% of the pieces I pick for you guys are named after a song & the stickers I create are influenced by music as well!

I named the store Black Crown Boutique because I love the color black (& no, I had NO clue that Suicide Silence had an album named The Black Crown)! I just personally feel like everything looks way cooler in black. And, I know that if you’re here reading this then you can agree with ya girl. I also feel that I can’t find clothes like I really love in my town and I wanted to help make that change. I love a good black outfit that can be simple or bold. So, I just want to find sick pieces that are different and fun! Edgy, bold & sometimes bright af. I just want to spice things up a bit, ya know?!

I do truly hope you love each piece you have chosen as much as I do! I try extremely hard to bring you something different that screams I’m edgy, moody AND magical af.
